Bio for today
I have lived almost the past two decades in rural america, having been brought up as a “flatlander” surrounded by water. I now look out on a mountain with fields as my front and backyards. It’s beautuful here, and i do love all the seasons, although the winter the least. My life has changed so much in the past 4 years, that i now spend more time at home, than not. the winter is long and i am inside so writing has become more important to me than any other time in my life. I have many journals and poetry on pages that i really don’t know where they are. i have burned some over the years, they were filled with too many tears. i did not want my family to find those musings. i hope the ones i add here will entertain some. i am still only learning. please excuse my use of lower case most times, it’s difficult to type and the extra added movement is just too hard on my fingers. i do enjoy reading and writing blogs and this is just the beginning.
After being on WP for two months i feel comfortable enough to add some details about my life, although i suppose i have been doing that in my writings. I was excessed from my job as a school librarian three years ago, due to “budget” issues and lack of enrollment.
Of course there is alot more to the story, since the Admin. moved a business office into the Library space. I had taken a leave one year prior to that to care for my elderly mother, who actually died within nine months of her arriving at my home.
I have been dealing with health issues for many years now although i am in denial right now, and have ways to “kill the pain”. there is nothing new about that.
I am thankful for finding WP. I am amazed every day by what i read, and in a good way. I am happy when i see a “like” and thrilled (so far) when i see a comment.
SO thank you, all you who happen upon my Blog and read it,even for a moment. Thank you for your likes and all your wonderful blogs as well.
